StabiliZR® pressure gauges are dry gauges equipped with the StabiliZR® dry damping system that eliminates pointer shaking caused by vibration and pulsation. This facilitates pressure reading and eliminates concerns about damping fluid leakage and compatibility problems with process media. The gauges are easy to maintain as they do not require the cumbersome draining and subsequent refilling of the housing with damping fluid.

How does it work?

The pointer shaft extends through the rear housing of the mechanism, and has a small flat vane attached to the end of the shaft. A silicone-filled stainless steel cap is press-fitted over the end of the shaft, covering the paddle. This generates enough resistance to cushion the pointer and mechanism just as if the gauge were filled with liquid, but without the worries.
