What is a Flexiloop?

Flexiloops provide high flexibility and reliability in fire protection, earthquake safety zones, expansion points and various industrial applications. These products are used to absorb large movements caused by thermal expansion, differential settlement of two structures or seismic movements that may have dangerous consequences.

Piping systems using Flexiloop flexible metal hoses have high degrees of freedom. An important advantage of this reference is that it does not generate large pressure reaction forces to the installed anchor points, as do other products used to make pipe lines more flexible. Flexiloops are ideal for seismic isolation, to protect pipe lines and equipment during earthquakes. This product compensates for large movements in all axes by absorbing random seismic displacements; This type of flexible metal hose is designed to absorb movements in pipes in the three axes (x, y, z), it has six degrees of freedom and can also absorb rotational movements.

DESIGN

The Flexiloop are composed of corrugated metal bellows sections with one or two metal meshes, connections in carbon steel or 300 series stainless steel. The flexible metal bellows provides high movement capacity in all axes while the mesh generates resistance to internal pressure of the system.
