Temperature transmitters are key components in electronic measurement systems. Their main function is to convert the sensor signal into a standardized output, widely used in industry, thus ensuring efficient integration with control and monitoring systems.
Digital indicators manufactured by WIKA, Winters and Noshok are available in various versions. Some models are designed to be integrated directly into the sensor head, optimizing space and facilitating installation. In addition, certain versions include advanced functionalities, such as:
- HART® communication for integration into more complex systems.
- Selection of sensor type.
- Adjustment of the measuring range (span).
- Configuration of error signaling.
- Identification of the measurement point.
- Switched outputs, which add flexibility in specific applications.
These instruments are essential in sectors such as the food, petrochemical, chemical and water treatment industries, where accuracy and reliability in temperature measurement are critical to ensure quality and operational safety.
Sensors – Temperature transmitters
Compact and stable temperature transmitter, for measurement of liquid and gaseous media in the range -50 to 200 °C, output signal 4 … 20 mA, 0 … 10 V or 0.5 … 4.5 V.
Ideal for industrial equipment, storage systems, drive engineering and hydraulic technology, together with heating, cooling and air-conditioning circuits.
Digital thermometers
Large LED display, field re-programmable with optional PC interface module and software. With 4 to 20 mA signal. Uses a PT100 Ω Class A RTD element. Ranges -50 to 400ºF.
Replacement for bimetallic thermometers, ideal for the pharmaceutical industry, food preparation, utilities, paper mills, hydraulics and petrochemical industry.
Process temperature transmitters
Intelligent temperature transmitter with different approvals for hazardous locations. Various types of very accurate sensors, variety of ranges and highly resistant to electromagnetic influences.
Ideal for oil, gas and power generation facilities; Rugged design and equipped with communication protocols (HART®).
Thermostats
They operate by activating or deactivating a mechanical or electronic contact when a preset temperature is exceeded. Robust or compact designs. They include microswitches that allow direct switching of electrical loads.
Control and monitoring of any industry application, from lubrication systems to hazardous locations and confined spaces.
Thermocouples – thermocouples
The thermocouples generate electrical voltage according to temperature and withstand temperatures up to 1,700 °C. The jacketed models are resistant to extreme vibrations. They comply with accuracy classes 1 and 2 as well as standard and special classes.
For refineries, petrochemical plants, storage tanks, power plants, paper mills, kilns, food and beverage plants, etc.
Resistance thermometers
Pt100/1000 resistance thermometers use platinum sensors whose resistance varies with temperature. Available with cable or head, they allow transmitters to be installed directly in the head. Suitable for ranges from -200 to +600 °C (depending on the model) and with accuracy classes AA, A and B.
Ideal for applications in industrial installations, oil & gas industry, storage tanks, power plants, paper production plants, furnaces, food and beverage.
