Dielectric monolithic gaskets
Are the ideal long-lasting solution for cathodic protection. They are very efficient against the flow of electric current in piping systems; as they do not have screws, bushings or washers, the risk of short circuits that may occur in other types of solutions is eliminated and as they do not have flanges, there is no possibility of the gasket being filtered by water and losing its insulating capacity.
Dielectric monolithic gaskets have two fields of use; in On-Shore applications, with buried pipelines carrying gas at high pressures and above ground pipelines carrying gas, oil or derivatives. They behave perfectly avoiding undesirable electric currents that may damage the cathodic protection and they are also perfect for use in buried piping systems that cross industrial areas with PME (Protective Multiple Earthing) multiple earthing protection. In Off-Shore applications, they are the only approved solution.

Dielectric monolithic joints are manufactured in ASTM A105, A350, A694 steels and also in 300 series austenitic stainless steels.
